Territorial scope of cover: insurance cover exists for liability claims asserted before the courts of the states of Europe, Turkey, the Russian Federation and the other states of the former Soviet Union, as well as non-European territories of European states, the EU or the EEA, and based on a violation of the law of those states.

For the out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes, the European Commission has established a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR).

Notice pursuant to § 36 of the German Consumer Dispute Resolution Act (VSBG)

For the out-of-court resolution of pecuniary disputes between clients and lawyers, out-of-court dispute resolution is available on request at the conciliation body of the legal profession at the German Federal Bar (Schlichtungsstelle der Rechtsanwaltschaft).

Each of the lawyers is in principle willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before one of the aforementioned conciliation bodies.
